Our Little Bros Simple Plan Wrote A Classic. We Had To Cover It.

Some friendships in music are built on mutual respect. Ours with Simple Plan? That one was built on chocolate milk, a mini-fridge thrown off a balcony in Leeds, and over 20 years of touring together around the world.

Way back in 2003, we hit the road with Simple Plan for the better part of a year — we brought them to the US and then to the UK for our first really big headline tour. Both bands were still figuring it all out, grinding every night, and somewhere in between the chaos, we became family. They've been our "little bros" ever since.

Since then, we've crossed paths on Warped Tour, festivals around the world, a sold-out UK tour together in 2020 (including our first time selling out Brixton Academy!), and last summer's incredible "Bigger Than You Think!" U.S. tour. This summer, we're doing it all over again on the “Bigger Than You Think! - The Sequel!". It never gets old.

Through all of it, there's always been one song that hit different. Simple Plan's "I'm Just a Kid" is an anthem — 23 years old and it still fills arenas with every word. Jaret even joined Pierre on stage during last year's tour to perform it live together. It's THAT song.

So it felt like the most natural thing in the world to put our spin on it.

Today, we're beyond excited to share our cover of Simple Plan's "I'm Just a Kid" — complete with a brand new music video. This one is a love letter to our friends, to the song, to the era, and to every kid (big and small) who ever screamed those lyrics in their bedroom.

Simple Plan's music has meant so much to us — not just as friends, but as fans. It's an honor to pay tribute to them with this fun cover, and we hope you love the song and the video as much as we loved making it.
